Amazing transformation of Sam
Some of you may remember that we rescued a couple horses a few years back. I doubt I posted pics though because they were so disturbing. (I’m too lazy to go back and look)
We chose Sam for TLF and sent him to a trainer and now is the GREATEST little horse. Just look how far he’s come.
When we first got him, I wasn’t even sure he would live:
The next one is from the vacation trip from hell, when Tammy-no-legs rescued me. (OMG, that still gives me shivers) I think we’d had him about a year at this point.
And this is from the past weekend:
I can hardly believe it’s the same horse. He has the best temperament and makes a fantastic child’s horse. I’m so proud of this baby.
Yes, that is a rope attaching the back girth. We were in a pinch and there is nothing we can’t white trashify.
I taught TLF to clean and oil his saddle.
Not sure why he needed a gun. LOL

Is he as smart as a dog? I mean the horse, not TLF.

That is an amazing transformation! What a save! Good for all of you; horse, boy, aunts and all.
Hope TLF doesn’t shoot his ass off!

That horse hit the jackpot of life when you guys adopted him! Just gorgeous! The pic of TLF is unbelievable – can’t get over how big/old he is. I think he must have been 3 or 4 when you first started blogging.

Wow! He looks amazing! What a lucky little horse – and TLF is lucky too! I would have died to have my own horse as a kid. My dad made a pretty shitty horse.
